Craft – The finest ingredients. The most intensive processes. A skilled, experienced brew team. Whatever it takes to bring you the very definition of craft beer – labored over and perfected. Nothing less will do.
Community – Because a brewery is so much more than a business. The stage where beloved local bands play. The venue where community charities hold events and do their good work. A gathering place for friends, families, and pets. Whether donating beer to local groups or making sure we follow the best policies for our environment, community is always front of mind in everything we do.
Charlotte – Our home. The reason for everything we do. Our friends, our neighbors. For everyone from seasoned craft beer enthusiasts to those making their first attempt to branch out from the same old, we brew beer for you.
From an easy drinking golden ale to a robust barrel-aged stout we make sure we have something for everyone on our tap list. Our beers have been enjoyed for years across the Carolinas and even garnered national recognition at the Great American Beer Festival - a bronze medal for our 3C IPA, a bronze medal for our Zest-A-Peel Blonde Ale, a bronze medal for our Citra Acid Test - Kettle Sour IPA, and a silver medal for our Baby Maker Double IPA.
Beer is the great unifier. Giving back to our community and cultivating events that bring people together are incredibly important to us. We love to celebrate and support our South End neighborhood.
Our commitment to the environment includes donations to Catawba River clean-up, a strict recycling program at our brewery, and ensuring the spent grain (waste from the brewing process) goes to local farms which then feed their livestock with the grain.
